a color or shade.hue is a SFW, free and digital zine, revolving around original characters with a certain concept which is in different hues. The aim is to compile colorful art and literary works of ocs!what is the zine like?contributors will be given a chance to choose a color (using hex codes) as their main hue and then creating a piece with it. color palettes will be limited, but it does not necessarily have to be monochromatic.
is there a specific oc concept or theme?as original characters can be made in many different themes and concepts, heck, even made revolving around a series or game (e.g. genshin, my hero academia), there are no restrictions whatsoever. contributors can use any of their ocs no matter how varied it is by theme. only the colors matter for this project.please do note as well that hue is a Sfw (pg-13) zine. strictly no nudity and/or explicit content.how do i apply?applications will open soon!general requirements for applicants✧ must have a working email

general content info—ocs
✧ original character basic info: name, pronouns, gender/sexuality, age, specie, occupation, and small description about them. all contributors will be asked to fill up a sheet containing these details.—illustrations
✧ full illustrations by page artists according to assigned color (hex codes).
✧ spot illustrations in collaboration with a writer
✧ digital merch of various kinds: wallpapers, icons, and more.
✧ all artists are only allowed to submit a maximum of two (2) art pieces.—fics
✧ write ups by writers according to assigned color (hex codes) detailed through writing.notes
✧ all contributors are required to have an original character.
✧ while references are not necessary, it is encouraged.
✧ Nsfw pieces are discouraged to submit. but if it portrays your style best, please tag trigger and content warnings accordingly.
✧ collaborations are very okay! artist+artist, artist+writer, writer+writer!writersaccepted writers will create a prose of 1,500 - 3,000 words.—portfolio requirements✧writers will be asked to submit three (3) of their best works that will showcase their writing style and quality of work.
✧ writers will be also asked to link their portfolio containing at least 3-5 completed works. it can include the three best works as repeat.
